A magnificent small village perched on top of a hill, surrounded by greenery and vineyards, it is a calm and peaceful place. Built on an area which has had dwellings on and around it from the Neolithic age until the medieval period. In Roman times, many of the areas lower down the hill had "villae" built upon them, and many remains have been found from this period.
