Lagnes is a picturesque Provençal village basking on a hill at the confines of the Monts de Vaucluse, in the Sorgue plain; dominated by its thirteenth century castle, it is a favourite with lovers of old stones, with its many narrow streets, vaulted passageways, sixteenth and seventeenth-century town houses, ancient façades, fountains and wash houses… From the top of rock of Pieï, a splendid view on Luberon and Alpilles are offered to you. Located within the Regional Park of Luberon, near the Mounts of Vaucluse, Lagnes proposes many possibilities of walk.
