A perched village ensconced at the foot of the castle, now in ruins, that once belonged to the infamous Marquis de Sade. Superb views over the Mont Ventoux, the Monts du Vaucluse and the Luberon. Not to be missed: the castle of de Sade, the remains of the ramparts with its gateways and towers, the Tower Clock, the Porte de la Garde, the Portail des Chèvres, the church of Sainte-Trophime (12th century), the Temple (19th century), the fountain and its 19th century washhouse.
