Cucuron

3 km from Lourmarin Altitude : 375 m Number of inhabitants : 1828 A charming village at the foot of the Luberon hills. An ancient village with its 13th century ramparts, it boasts towers, hotels and ancient noble houses as well as a superb church with an historical organ. It is a village which has extraordinary architectural and artistic riches. Not to be missed: the church of Notre Dame de Beaulieu which dominates the village, the olive oil mill (in a grotto under the ramparts) which has been operational for over four centuries, catering to the needs of the inhabitants of Cucuron.
